Purpose

To protect the health, safety and welfare of staff, volunteers, beneficiaries and visitors.

Key commitments

• Workplaces and activities are risk-assessed, with controls implemented and reviewed.
• Events and field activities have safety plans.
• Incidents and near-misses are reported, recorded and investigated.
• First aid, emergency procedures and appropriate insurance are in place, and staff are trained.

This is a public summary of policy D7 — Health & Safety, part of the Foundation’s board-adopted Policies & Compliance Framework.
