Accessibility.

We want everyone to be able to use this website.

Accessibility

Designed to be used by everyone.

The Kelmendi Foundation is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, device or technology. Accessibility is part of how we serve the public, and we treat it as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time task.

Our target standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our working standard, and we test against it as the site develops.

What we have done

Semantic structure and clear headings; descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; readable colour contrast; a keyboard-navigable interface; a layout that adapts to small screens; and respect for the ‘reduced motion’ setting on your device.

Known limitations

As a growing institution, some newer content may not yet fully meet our target, and third-party material (such as embedded documents or media) may not be fully accessible. We address issues as they are identified.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter anything that is difficult to access, please contact us at accessibility@kelmendifoundation.org. We will acknowledge your message, respond, and work to resolve the issue. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome.

Review

This statement is reviewed periodically as the website evolves and as our content grows.
