Protect yourself from people misusing the Kelmendi Foundation name.
Like many established institutions, the Kelmendi Foundation’s name may be misused by individuals or groups attempting to deceive the public. This page explains how we operate so you can recognise and avoid fraud carried out in our name.
We never ask for payment
The Foundation never asks any individual to pay a fee, deposit or ‘processing charge’ to receive a grant, donation, prize or job offer. Any such request is fraudulent.
Our official channels
Our only official website is www.kelmendifoundation.org and our official email addresses end in @kelmendifoundation.org. We do not conduct official business through personal email or anonymous messaging accounts.
Common scams
Fake grant or lottery notifications; fraudulent job offers; bogus donation appeals; impersonation of our staff or leadership; and phishing messages or look-alike domains designed to harvest personal or banking details.
If you are targeted
Do not pay money or share personal, identity or banking details. Keep the message, report it to us, and report it to the local police or relevant authorities.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from the Foundation, please tell us. Reporting impersonation helps us warn the public and pursue appropriate action.
