Purpose

To ensure the Foundation raises and accepts funds ethically and lawfully.

Key commitments

  • Donations are accepted only where the source is lawful and consistent with the mission.
  • The Foundation may decline or return any donation that is illegal, suspicious or reputationally damaging.
  • Restricted gifts are accepted only where the restriction is lawful, deliverable and recorded.
  • Major, in-kind and related-party gifts require Board review.
  • Gifts or hospitality above a nominal value are declined or registered; cash is never accepted.
