Purpose

To ensure decisions are made in the Foundation’s interest, and are seen to be so.

Key commitments

  • Board members and senior officers complete an annual declaration of interests, updated when circumstances change.
  • A conflicted person discloses the conflict early and does not participate in or vote on the matter.
  • Material or recurring conflicts are managed by the Board, which may require recusal or independent review.
  • A register of interests is maintained and reviewed annually.
